It’s been a busy few months for me! Click here to see a new article that a local TV station posted today about my artwork. I later learned that it has been shared with other TV stations and has been seen in other parts of the country, such as Kansas City, Sacramento, Milwaukee, and Altoona (just to start with!).
Here’s an article from a local Pennsylvania TV station about my art, mentioning that my work will be showing locally at Gamut Gallery, with the opening next weekend (October 9th).
The State Museum of Pennsylvania has an annual show where the highlight artists in the state. This was my first year applying. Out of over 2000 entries, they chose 100 and my piece “Winter” was one of them! Today was the opening, and I was there to meet the other artists and art fans! It will be there through the end of the year, so if you get out to Harrisburg, it’s the big museum right next to the capitol building!
Here’s a link to a gallery of all the artwork.
Here’s the link to all the artists with their resume and statements.
Here are some pictures of me at the gallery, talking to people about my artwork, and relaxing with some brunch across the street from the museum!
American Spark did a short documentary about me! Have a look!
Here’s the video of me receiving the Courage Award from the American Cancer Society during a local telethon recently. (My husband Michael A. Ventrella is with me!)
This weekend, I’ll be receiving a “Courage Award” from the American Cancer Society during their annual local telethon for my work in inspiring other cancer patients to move on with their lives after treatment. Here I am being interviewed on local channel 13!
